"A Little Ludwig" - Otterbach, May 5
Our Spring program was performed on May 5th in Otterbach and on May 19th as part of the Night of the Churches in Erzhütten. We sang of the warm sun, the stars in the southern sky, good friends that help overcome weariness, sadness and desperation ... of love, the carneval and great masters ... of sailors who are bidden farewell, who drown their sorrows with alcoholic beverages and who finally arrive after a long and dangerous journey ... of music that touches our souls, that is our refuge and light, that makes us strong and joyful ... of praising the Lord, of faith that is strong as a rock, of superstition and sacrifices ... and of our desire for peace.

"Subtly shaped melodic phrases with clear diction and pure intonation conveyed the overall impression of a high standard of interpretation [...]."
"[...] a turn towards a lively, pulsating drive, which ultimately breathes new life into classical choral music and does it good in this cultivated form. Moreover, it seamlessly supports the transition from sacred to secular choral music."
