The Rheinpfalz newspaper said in its review of the concert in the St.Michaelis church:
“If you experienced the Rheinland-Pfalz International Choir a few years ago, you were in for a big surprise. Patrick Casey has formed the choir into a sounding ensemble of surprising quality. Especially convincing is the rich euphony; … the singing is precise and clean, the phrasing is excellent, and the director cares about dynamics and a nice final ritardando.”
December 14, 2012 - Fruchthalle Kaiserslautern, Fruchthallstraße 10, 67655 Kaiserslautern
In 2012 we were again happy to participate in this special concert evening with our own program and joint pieces with the USAFE concert band. The choir program contained the following pieces: Adeste fidelis - Ach mein herzliebes Jesulein - Sicut Locutus Est - Gloria in excelsis Deo - In the bleak mid-winter - All On a Cold Winter’s Night - Jesus, Oh What a Wonderful Child (with the USAFE Jazz Band) and Let There Be Peace On Earth, as well as a Medley Deutscher Weihnachtslieder, performed jointly with the USAFE Band.
In its concert review “Santa Claus’ beard cut off”, the Rheinpfalz newspaper writes about the choir:
“A mixed choir of all age groups, based on a human unity of Americans, Germans and members of many other nations that has grown for 25 years, experiencing and creating choral singing together at a high level of proficiency. In classic a-capella style or accompanied by varying ensembles - they always gave a very rounded and balanced impression. Traditional chorals and compositions by Bach exemplified such a high homogeneity in sound and expressiveness that it made for the purest and most clear joy of listening.”
