2008/2009

We performed our 2009 Christmas program. We were supported by musicians of the Kaiserslautern District Symphonic Orchestra (Elisabeth Ramirez, Helene Nacu, Johanna Mann, Nico Erfurt). The local Rheinpfalz newspaper of December 8th is commenting:

In terms of languages, the singers alternated between German, English, and Latin. These facts are remarkable, because they represent a way of travel and stops all around the globe that allowed the choir to show its best. To come together so closely, densely, even archaic in the union of nations and traditions to direct our senses to this celebration at the end of the year – that remains as a soothing musical memory of this hour-long evening of songs.

Just like in the previous years, we joined the USAFE Band in their annual Christmas Concert in the Fruchthalle Kaiserslautern. The local Rheinpfalz newspaper of December 7th is commenting:

The “Rheinland-Pfalz International Choir“ directed by Patrick Casey mastered the extreme demands in vocal range of the German and American Christmas melodies with excellence, flawless and homogeneous intonation, and enchanted with pure euphony.
